Hiya peeps,

I've been converting my entire CD music collection to .mp3 in the last few weeks and will let you all know when I'm done. I'll make a master playlist of everything I have uploaded as soon as I'm done. Afterwards, I'd like to DJ regularly in Tropica!

There's a way to play your own MP3s in CNW? I mean other then with the commands in the objects, of course.

I ripped my CDs a long time ago to put on my iRiver. Lots of work. Out of about 350 CDs, I ended up with around a 1000 selections that I thought I could listen to for eternity. (grin) I probably add less than a dozen new selections a year now - mostly off the internet. I very rarely buy a CD any more.

You can still use Winamp's DJ software to play music directly from your HDD but that program has always been problematic for the DJ and listeners alike. I just Paste in my .mp3 file urls into a central media streaming object.

Hi peeps,

I've finally got all my music CDs converted to .mp3 and have them uploaded online! I started to meet up with the CNW Hosts during their hosting gigs this week to play music. I'm hoping to draw peeps into CNW during Hosting sessions at first and then maybe later on create my own DJ schedule. Be sure to check into Tropica world when you see users there and hang out and listen to my music and chat. Tell all your friends!
