AW Objects and my own object path

Postby Wings » Mon Feb 12, 2007 1:26 am

Dang! I'm on dial up and I spent a lot of time downloading 50 plus megs of AW objects.

Problem is, less than 10% of them work??? I don't have a clue as to why that is so, but I think I'm going to drop my plans for my own object yard because of it.

I probably will do the multipath thing as most of what does work doesn't seem to be available at CNW. But I won't make it public - the AW objects. (No yard - just access the files).

Not too sure why you cannot use them as we have used aw objects. It is possible that in Options/World/Rights the Special Objects has to have a * to allow Z objects (whatever they are LOL). Maybe Special Commands also should have a *.

Also in citizen Options, Settings, Advanced, the checkmark in print object errors in window will sometimes to see what the error is.
It should tell you why the object is not loading.

I know that there hasn't been a post here in 2 years, but I would like to point out that I have gone through the exact same thing... and it turned out that it seemed to be a problem with my FTP client... but I made a new directory for my OP, and re-downloaded and uploaded the AW Megapath objects, and now it's working fine :?: so if anyone ever has this problem, that might fix it... re-doing it :\ Time-consuming process; probably only worth it if you are serious about using your OP.
